Boots and more Boots
So sparkles are gone post the festive season, now it’s all about outfits that will keep us looking good during the new year. Dog walks, pub with friends and generally living your life but wanting to look casual but stylish. I bought these boots last year from Air & Grace, they are so comfy and fully lined to keep your toe toes super warm. They look lovely with cropped jeans or leggings, with the amount of rain we have had this Christmas, they haven’t had any outings yet they are patiently waiting of the dry crisp days to arrive. Next these black flat boots are great under long dresses or skirts. They are very comfortable a bit peaky blinders esk. I also wear mine with leggings and a chunky knit. Next, a little bit of an investment but beautifully made Nanette boots from Grenson. I bought these for Glastonbury last year, they look great under a white tea dress. You can also buy different colour laces to jazz them up. I bought some neon pink ones. Of course they are the OG of walking boots but I take a more city/festival approach to wearing them. Finally my guilt pleasure, I am obsessed with these cowboy boots from Terry De Havilland. The Annie metallic boots they are very festival/Taylor Swift concert vibes, but can be worn with denim shorts or a long leopard print dress. A statement boot that’s for sure. I was gifted them this year from hubby and I have no shame in admitting, I wore them all day on Christmas Day, walking around the house admiring myself at every opportunity. Lastly not a boot at all but I know lots of people bought the Birkenstock Boston clogs this year. I was on the fence with them if I am honest, but trust Gucci to bring us an elevated pair. These Gucci slippers are so effortlessly stylish. They would look great with a pair of chunky cashmere socks and some casual lounge wear. You will be rocking casual chic, fingers crossed they bring some summer variations…
